A sensational spring/summer fragrance with a creamy melon accord. I sometimes perceive a smell reminiscent of watermelon bubblegum. The fruits in the opening are green, sweet and creamy. The initial sweetness transitions partly into a mellow sandalwood. The dry down is a smooth amber with a hint of musk. You can still smell the melon accord, but it is no longer the main event. An enjoyable scent for sure, but I find it too sweet to wear before the dry down.

Athenean is a reformulation of Figuier, and here the focus is on the wood of the tree over the leaves and fruit. Absolutely sensational! Mr. Heeley, please never stop making perfumes
