This is my husband’s go-to night/formal fragrance and it’s an absolute winner. On his chemistry it’s very animalic, tobacco, 80-proof alcoholic, but all in the best way. A bit medicinal and never shy. It smells like the end of a hot Savana day, sitting in the jeep with Ernest Hemingway and finding respite in a pipe and double measure of whiskey. Yet it still settles beautifully. Is it a statement? Yep. But is it unwearable in its statement? Not at all.
