Husband and wife team David Seth Moltz (D.S.) and Kavi Moltz (nicknamed "Durga") were pioneers in DIY Brooklyn when they founded D.S. & Durga in 2007. Inspired by their love of music, nature, myth and design, self-taught perfumer David began making fancy fragrances in their tiny Bushwick apartment, leaving trained architect Kavi to curate a world of bespoke bottles and visual storytelling to make each scent come alive. They continue to produce all their perfume in-house in New York City, and offer curated Spotify playlists for each scent to underscore their rich narratives.
