Creative directors Mert Güzel and Murat Katran dreamed of bringing the legend of Karagoz and Hacivat into today’s world.

Karagoz, Hacivat and Zenne are the lead characters of the traditional Turkish shadow play, popularized during the Ottoman period and then prominently in Turkey and Greece.

Under the inspiration of their playful characters, the perfume trilogy has been created together with the perfumer Jorge Lee.

Just like the theme of these Shado Plays, the main objective of Nishane through this collection was to emphasize the contrasting interaction of the people that we can see in every single culture.

Inspired by the female character in the traditional shadow puppetry, Zenne will teleport you to the enigmas of the paradise gardens full of joy and romance with a deliberate mix of the fruity and floral accords along with vanilla, ambergris and musk at the base.
