I finally bought this fragrance in May after playing with the sample for many months. Its story really resonated with the “moment” of my purchase. I got it at ETIKET Toronto, while on a business trip. There’s a lot of history between Toronto & I, and purchasing this scent while visiting their beautiful store at The Well felt like a decision to reclaim my own inner Sun.

I didn’t expect it to be my go-to scent…but I’ve been wearing it almost everyday since my purchase. I have a pretty beautiful collection, my body just keeps wanting Solaris. While I may choose differently when the heat cools down, right now, it feels like the life I need this summer.

It’s this luxurious, sun creamy, scent that may be soft, but it’s also a little sharp and poignant. It’s alive, spicy in unexpected ways that eventually become a little powdery, maybe. It captures the attention, that’s for sure.

Sometimes, it can be overwhelming. I’ve worn it in cooler, more humid weather, in the hopes of feeling energized to get some more work done, before moving on with other commitments that night….and wearing the fragrance gave me the overwhelming need to take a nap…but I had the energy to do what I had to do later on!

All to say: I love this scent, I’ve gifted samples to a friend who loves it as well, and I would highly recommend it…especially in warmer weather :)

Got compliments the first time I wore it. Empressa has always been my favorite, but for summer, this is just beautiful. The more I wear it, the more I like it.
