I do believe this is the first cherry scent I've tried and truly enjoyed: not a single hint of cough syrup to my nose. The cherry accord makes for a rich and juicy opening, leading to an ambroxan and cashmeran trail. Completely agree with the other reviewer that it's sexy and gourmand in a way that isn’t cloying; I'm not always in the mood for it, but perhaps that speaks to how sophisticated and unique it is compared to my comfort scents.

Glad to have this travel size in my collection while I save up for the substantially different and $$$ extrait. The extrait is is less fruit-forward with far more smoke and woods; definitely an evening scent. I'd say this is a rare example where the original and the flanker are sufficiently different to justify owning both. Time to save my pennies!

It’s sexy and gourmand in a way that isn’t cloying. If this scent were a character it would be Jessica rabbit. If you want to make it even more powerful, layer it with our for greatness, and wowza. You need to be in the right mood to rock it, but yeah. Wow. There’s a biiiit of a cherry halls smell to it, but it’s not always there. Depends on the weather and mood I’m in, I guess.
